All Real Woods Are a Little Enchanted

We finished reading the Chronicles of Narnia last week and Christopher cried because there are no more.....

So Wade comforted him with an enchantment of his own.
"There's the horse," he said.  "Right there!"

And then he played magical music in the background....

Oh, all right.  Maybe there are still other books worth reading.

Fairy land arouses a longing for [the child] knows not what.  It stirs and troubles him with the dim sense of something beyond his reach and, far from dulling or emptying the actual world, gives it a new dimension of depth.  He does not despise real woods because he has read of enchanted woods:  the reading makes all real woods a little enchanted.                                              --C. S. Lewis

It's nice to see that Wade shares Murphy with his brother.

I just got a free download of this book series the day before for my children to listen to from here http://ancientfaith.com/podcasts/grapevine. I think I'll be listening too!
